I’m having some buyer’s remorse here guys/gals. I keep reading there’s no significant difference between them all but I can’t help but feel I should have maybe thought it through more. Perhaps I should have gone with the EVGA FTW3 Hybrid or Gigabyte AORUS Xtreme. Then there’s the Asus ROG Strix and MSI Gaming X. Ugh. Sorry for the rant everyone. I’m just looking for some reassurance in all this I guess lol.

Those other models are clocked slightly higher but your evga has a decent enough cooler you could oc the card even further than those you mentioned. But id just play your games first, youll be happy with the performance without overclocking.

EVGA's Hybrid 1080Ti https://overclock3d.net/reviews/gpu_displays/evga_gtx_1080_ti_ftw3_hybrid_review/16 has a max. temp. of 46. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/evga-gtx-1080-ti-ftw3-gaming,5061-6.html 71C for your card. In the real world it seems the max. temps. are closer to 50for the hybrid. That's why I chose it. Never in my life have I purchased such a high end card. I bought this for the Vive.

Where the rubber meets the road is in the gaming world. We'll each be within 1-2% of each other. Some may push it hard or may not need to. There's not going to be any downside to its FPS. Each card will have its benefits. It's the 1080Ti for bleeps sake. Nothing to regret with that.
