Since yesterday my Seagate 2TB external hard drive (Model: SRD0NF1) could no longer be recognised by the PC, the indicator light is not light up either.
However, the hard drive does still produce heat and there is quite a bit of vibration when connected. Also, this disk can be found in the Disk Management, as "Disk 1, Unknown, 1863.02GB Unallocated, Not Initialised"
When I tried to initialise it through either MBR or GPT, a window called "Virtual Disk Manager" would pop up, stating "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)."
The external hard drive can also be found by data recovery softwares, as "Lost Partition-1". I tried to run a deep scan using a software called "EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard", but the scan could not be finished and no file was found.
Do I have a chance to get this external hard drive working again?
