Hi, I recently just built a gaming pc but somehow it cant play any games at low-setting
ie; cs-go, RUST, Pubg

my build:
- windows 10 home
- i5-8600k
- Geforce 1060 SC 3gb
- G.skill ripjaws (3200) 8gb x2
- Msi Z370 gaming plus motherboard
- 1tb HDD
- Samsung 960 250gb m.2 SSD
- 750W kentek PSU
- Corsair h100 v2

Low setting rust > 30-50fps, when in combat or walking around with people dropped down to 15-20
CS-GO > 45-60 in competetive
Pubg > too laggy can't play, had to quit

Yes, I turned off Vsync
Yes, everything is on LOW SETTINGS
Yes, I upgrade every drivers possible, windows
Yes, I didnt open anything while playing the game

please help, I'm so lost

Solution
As for the pump speed it could be some sort of incompatibility issue. I would try using the CPU_OPT header for the pump instead of the CPU_FAN header and see if the readings change.

Are your fans spinning and can you hear the pump working inside? I asked you earlier but I think my question got buried by the other posts.

Nope, not from another build, its new. I tried re-install already didnt work.
should i upgrade my ram or my GPU card? If a new GPU should I sell 3gb and get a 6gb or I could just buy ANOTHER 6gb?

Download (or use if you already have it) MSI Afterburner and run it along with a game. Monitor what your GPU is doing while gaming. And also monitor your CPU temps as you could be throttling due to lack of cooling on your AIO’s part.

While gaming you should listen to your cooler and see if you hear the pump running. I have a feeling this is a thermal issue.

As far as getting a new card I would say no. This is not the fault of your card not being beefy enough. What resolution are you gaming on?

1600x900 on Cs-go
1920x1080 on Rust

Ya, your GPU is completely capable running those games on high at those resolutions. Your CPU is utilized more at lower resolutions which is why I still think this has something to do with your thermals. Check them out and let us know what temps you’re running at.

You do not need Corsair Link for the pump and fans to operate. They will operate normally running off of the motherboard. Corsair Link is just a software application to change LED lighting effects, monitor fan RPM, monitor temps, etc. I would know since I own the same exact cooler and hated the Link software so I removed it.

Id have to agree, the psu or cpu speeds are plummeting due to heat. Check temps and cpu speeds in action using real time monitoring like msi afterburner/realtemp

A system like that should perform well. 1060 3gb vs 6gb both perform similar so thats not the right avenue to diagnose.

Inability to deliver power should result in unstable system, although i think that the PSU is shoddy and might not be powering the gpu properly.

THe corsair tx750m is quite good. though a bit more pricey than that kenwood 750ish watt.
get the tx650m and it should more than suffice.

these are good value not to0 pricy... check it out on jonnyguru.com

Am i seeing that correctly all your cpu cores are onwards to 100c?

Download realtemp, what does that say? https://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/

Really man i hope im wrong, if your cpu is that hot you should shut it down and get that sorted asap

Ya, this is what I thought. High CPU temps. Take your cooler off and make sure the thermal paste is there and that the fans/pump are plugged in. Reapply thermal paste! Reattach it and make sure it’s snug (don’t overtighten). Run the test again and monitor the temps.
