So near Christmas, i got myself a ibuypower pc with a gtx 1060 and i7 7700. (bestbuy) Now i heard things about ibuypower psu being very poor. I didn't think much of it as my pc was running great without any problems until a few days ago. Now when i play fortnite or GTA V its barely playable. I will go from 250 fps down to 10 and the game will start to lag. Then my whole computer will be delayed and it takes forever to close the game. However, if im playing another game like Civilization V or CSGO it runs fine. I know fortnite runs gpu very highly. Do you think the problem is my gpu, psu or both?

Highly doubt it a PSU could cause that kind of problems. It either works or it shutsdown.
Do you have a SSD? If not, the slow down could be caused by your HDD even more so if you have 8gb of ram or less, and it used swap memory.

So my hard drive might be the problem. Thing is my SSD is only 120 gb :/. I have to redownload the games to the SSD now? or is it possible to move them without totally redownloading

What is the specific brand and model number of the PSU? As the others have said, it is probably not the cause of the problem you are having, but I understand from other threads on this forum that some of the pre-built PC makers do indeed use low quality PSUs. They generally never mention the specs of the PSU in their PC specifications because they buy low quality PSUs in batches and use whichever PSU they have in stock at the time of the build. They will just mention that the PSU is "a 500 Watt PSU".

Don't know yet for sure, you have to be home so you can give us the information we need.
