I recently built a new PC for gaming and I am having a huge problem.
When I try launching any games that are relatively High Quality, my pc shuts down on its own after playing for around 5 minutes, and reboots.

My Specs:
- Intel Core i5 7600k
- Asus Prime Z270-A
- Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Windforce OC
- Corsair HX750 Professional

My power supply is a pretty old model since I have not changed it. I got all my parts on December 27th and built in on January 6th. I got everything new but the power supply.

I personally think the problem is the power supply since it is pretty old, it could be failing. Also, the temperatures are never high so I know it is not overheating issues.

The full build is here, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zL9X9W

I hope someone can help me before I buy a new Power Supply!

Solution

Since you know it's the problem, could it be a reason if I added extensions to the cables? Or cable length doesn't matter?
