I have recently got a Seagate 4tb expansion hard drive for my Xbox. The problem is that when ever I plug it up it only reads as a 456gb how on Earth do I fix this problem.

Which Windows are you using? You might have to download and use a partition manager to create one giant un-allocated HD, partition it according to the limitations of your Windows, formatting those partitions, marking the OS partitiion primary as well as active. Then booting the Windows install DVD and going on from there.
