I recently built a computer which is based of a friends build with only some slight differences.
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1400 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock - AB350 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard (friend uses an "MSI - B350 PC MATE ATX AM4 Motherboard" instead)
Memory: Kingston - HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (friend uses an "Kingston - HyperX Fury Black 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory" instead)
SSD: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
HDD: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series Video Card
Power Supply: Corsair - 650 Watt CS650M Modular
For some reason however, my pc performs worse than his, giving me lower FPS. For example we have both been playing Just Cause 3 on max settings, where my game will drop to below 35 frames in some intensive parts, while his stays well above 60 frames. In every game his fps is at least double of what i'm outputting.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers with no success.
Please help if you can. Thank you.
