Bare with me as im really new to this but i upgraded my cpu from a E5700 processor to a E7500
but one of the sticks stop working after that upgrade but that same stick works with the E5700 basically when i try to turn it on with the E7500 the computer makes 1 short beep then a long beep and it continues but if i put the E5700 back in then it turns on fine
this is a very old rig
motherboard is a foxconn 2a8c
the ram thats giving trouble is a KVR1333D3S8N9/2G 1.5
the ram that works is a elpida 2Rx8 pc3-10600U-9-10-B0
power supply is a ATX0300D5WC
any ideas on the issue? ive also tried a single 4gb one thats from same kvr but same issue
