I've bought a new motherboard, cpu and RAM. As I'm on a budget I wanted to buy as few new parts as possible.

I have an antec EA-750 (750W) psu that I bought back in 2010. Can I just keep this instead of upgrading or do I risk trying the cpu and motherboard? Will it have the correct cables I need for the new components?

I intend to run it with the following:

Ryzen 5 1600
Gigabytes ab-350 gaming 3
Corsair 8gb ddr4

I personally wouldn't do it, but you'll find many who do. Chances are it'll work. It has the connectors, has enough watts etc, but let's put it this way. It has a 3 year warranty. The company can't guarantee it any longer than that. You've had it since 2010....

The thing that sucks about PSUs is, when they die, they often like to burn other parts with them when they go.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from dominickonieczny : "Best budget PSU"

B3 series' OPP flaw is fire hazardous waste. I do not recommend it.

W1 is borderline crap defintitely not the best value unit at the price.

The corsair cx450m or be Quiet pure power 10 400 would be the lowest I'd go in terms of price and quality for this build: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/evga-450-b3-psu,5160-6.html
