Hi guys

My CPU: Intel Corei7 4790K Without Overclock. Mobo: ASUS Z97-K.

After Installing Patch Security (Microsoft Security Update ) For Spectre And Meltdown.

My CPU does not have the previous functionality And ASUS Ai Suite III is Deactivate. It even runs the web browser with a delay

How can I clear this security patch?

you might try un-installing the AI Suite III - there have been a lot of problems with it creating conflicts in the BIOS - i had it on my 4790(non-k) and relied on it's temp reporting in the performance utility, only to find it was under reporting temps. It would always hit a max of 67C when i was rendering videos (cpu usage at 98-100%). I was curious and downloaded HWMonitor and it showed temps at 99-100C. I checked it with intel's XTU utility and sure enough, they were at the 99-100C limit. So I'd been rendering videos for 3 months, 3-5 video files a week, 1-5-2 hours rendering each video, and the only thing saving the CPU was the thermal limit.

There's even a AI Suite Cleaner utility ASUS put out to help remove it after you un-install it - but you have to run the cleaner in safe mode. Google for it

damn, I really hate windows.. what is your web browser doing? I am getting a weird delay with IE using i5 4460. When I first open it or open any tabs there is less than 1 second hiccup that was 100% never there before. everything use to just open instantly with no delays.

Do you also get a weird delay if you click on the search box in bottom left near windows icon? I swear I would uninstall windows if I did not need it for games I play.
