When I'm using my computer it seems to freeze the screen I'm on frequently. It's pretty inconsistent. Sometimes I could be on the internet or playing games. It acts like I pressed pause on a video and stays that way til I restart my computer. I couldn't find other threads stating these problems. Please help?

you can download CrystalDiskInfo. this will give you straight away the current status of your drive. with the SMART health check if your SATA config is set to AHCI.

you can do a simple disk maintenance to make sure all the bad sectors are in check. you can download either EaseUS/Minitool partition tools.
just open the tool. right click the drive and Surface Test. this process will take from 2~4hours depending how fast your drive/CPU is or how large your drive is.

if your drives are "healthy" and you are still experiencing freezes, you might want to check on your RAM as well.
