I'm trying to replace my FX-4350 with a FX-8350, but the CPU wont run.
First I mounted the CPU, but got a dr. dbug-code "00"
I de-mounted the CPU, and discovered a bent pin, straightened the pin and mounted the CPU again.
It still wont run, an now it shows a dr.dbug-code "05". In the manual this code is explained with "OEM initialization before microcode loading". Before the code "05" shows, the code "09" shows for half a second. This code is explained as "South Bridge initialization after microcode loading".
All fans run, but no boot.
I have tried clearing CMOS, both with CMOS reset button in the back panel, and with jumper-pins.
I have the newest bios, P2.6, and the MB supports the CPU for sure.
Any tips for helping me out someone?
Of course it is possible the CPU is faulty, but it looks ok, no burn marks or scratches, except for the bent pin I straightened.
