Ryzen 1600 at 1.5ghz? Why?

I used to have a Biostar x370 gt5 mobo and I recently got a MSI x370 Gaming Plus. This motherboard looked promising, but it has so many boot issues and crap. My CPU isn't what it's supposed to be, which is @3.8 OC'd. I don't get why this is happening. I need answers as to what to disable or enable on this mobo to keep a constant 3.8ghz because the Biostar mobo did that.

on the motherboard switch did you reinstall the os for the new board with driver .

Temps are below 40, and yes, I have reinstalled a new OS and it keeps having a damn black screen. Sometimes it works, but it's a miracle to get it working again.

could you try another gpu in system and cpu dont have any bent pins .

I don't have another gpu sitting around. I tried taking it out, that didn't work. Same for RAM, leaving one stick, removing any peripherals, etc.

ryzen wont work without a gpu on the board try to have a friend to help you on this test .

Then I'm out of luck on this one. I don't have anyone around or near me to even lend me a gpu. Don't even have the money myself.

100%, all good on the Biostar. When I came to MSI, bunch of bs I've never seen. Everything worked.

I mean, I guess buying something from a brand you never bought from is always a bad thing. First time using an MSI product and it fails to be on my good list. I will say this: After unplugging my SSD, it turned on, but it still didn't have a boot screen or anything, but my monitor lit up.

you unplud ssd and it work did you try another sata cable from board to it and if you could use is maker to test it could be the one .

So I unplugged SSD. Didn't work. I put SSD back in and unplugged HDD. It worked! Now, I will try different cable for HDD.

Switched the cables and it seems to be working fine now. I'm also running @3.8ghz
