Would a GTX 1080 be adaquate for a dual monitor setup with both a 1440p 144hz and 60hz monitor?

I currently just have one 1440p 144hz monitor and would very much like to have another monitor at 1440p 60hz as long as it wouldn't hinder my gaming experience too much. I'm perfectly happy at playing games on lower setting if required.

I run dual 1080p 60Hz monitors on a gtx660ti. Dual monitors isn't the issue. You may or may not run into problems with the refresh the differences with 144Hz vrs 60Hz, but the 1440p resolution is no worries for a gtx1080.
