So i build my pc with i5 6400 8 gigs of ram , 256 gig ssd and when i try to boot my system it sometimes shows that motherboard posted in safe mode because of system instability or the power button being held to force shut down. Sometimes it boots just fine and even when the error occurs a reboot solved it and sometimes the boot led on my motherboard which is asus b150 pro gaming with the latest bios stays on and sometimes it turn off after boot. I am having a lot of problem due to this and am worried if it would harm my system. Can you please tell me what is wrong or what should i do to get it fixed?

you should not worry about damaging your system as your mb does not support over clocking so i think you need worry about damage, but as for the boot problem it may be from the ram placement so move were the ram is placed, and but it may also be the cpu, try removing from its socket BUT if you do not have extra thermal paste then don't remove the cpu cooler. i would try re-plugging all the connections from the psu into the mb just for safety.
