So i built my pc a couple of months ago and it was working perfect but my pc had shutdown many times while using it this week. I took my psu out of the case and just let it power the motherboard and cpu, and it wasn't hot at all, nether were any other component in the system. I also noticed that when it randomly turned off before, i had to plug the power cord out and in again for it to power on.

Specs.
Ryzen 3 1300x (im using the stock cooler)
8gb duel hyperx ram
Gtx 1050 ti
Msi b350 pc mate
120gb kingston ssd
1tb wd blue
EVGA 500BQ psu
Nzxt s340 elite.

Solution

Try replacing the PSU. Sounds like once your computer comes to load it shuts off due to not enough power getting to components.

Hook up only the basics. Cpu PSU and 1 stick of ram and your ssd that windows 10 is on. Run a prime 95 test or Aida 64 stress test on your cpu and see if it turns off.
