freeze on splash screen

Hello, yesterday i changed my computer Mobo toa m5a97 r 2.0 from ASUS.
yesterday i installed windows and it was running ok. I shutted down and went to sleep.

Today when i turned computer on it just stays on asus splash screen and do not even to go bios.

What do you suggest to solve the probleM?

EDIT: i read few forums on internet and tried a tip where they said to remove all USB ports, and it worked...I am on the computer already
Why would USB block it? any suggestion?

It can happen, sure. It’s not uncommon. As I said, it’s all about drivers. Once you get into the system just update the USB drivers through device manager and you should be good.

It was a driver issue. When installing a new motherboard you should update whatever drivers you can. When your PC tried to boot the drivers were not there to allow the PC to be handed off to your OS. So you got stuck with the BIOS trying to hand off control of the hardware with nothing to hand it to.

And that would happen because i installed the OS via USB?
