Hello everyone I think my CPU temp is too high when idle.

My System Specs
MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard
AMD FX 8350 CPU
SAPPHIRE R9 290 Vapor-X GPU
Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
CORSAIR VENGEANCE 2x4GB RAM
CORSAIR CX 750 PSU

Here are the temps: https://imgur.com/a/RWeCf

I've changed face of cooler. It was looking down to the GPU and now it is looking to the back fan.
Do the position of cooler matters. What do you think ? Thanks in advance.

Solution
Has to be a problem with the thermal paste installation. Watch a few thermal paste application guides and when you redo the thermal paste, make sure you do it correctly. ;)

Thanks for the reply, but most of the comments about hyper 212 says you should expect 40max while idle. Are you sure ?

You said that you
have changed face of cooler. It was looking down to the GPU and now it is looking to the back fan.

Did you properly clean the residue thermal paste from your CPU when you remove it and then reapply when you reinstall it?

What do you mean by "now it is looking to the back fan"?

Does that mean you have the fan on the 212 EVO facing the fan on the back side of the case?

Thanks for the help. I re-applied the thermal paste and added a second fan to the cooler now its 45-47 idle with 4.5ghz overclocked and 63-65 while gaming with 4.5ghz overclocked.
