Can i run GTX 590 on corsair 550w psu?

okay so i decided to change my GPU from 6950 1gb so i searched used part market in my country and the best deal i found was GTX 590 3gb. so now theres is a question would i be able to run this card with my Corsair CX550m (gray psu series) or wait till something more suitable pops up and buy something else?
Full pc specs:
gigabyte ga-p55-UD3
intel i5 750@3.9ghz with CM 212 evo
HD 6950 1gb
2x4gb corsair vengeance ram
1TB hdd
few case fans

I certainly would not recommend a 590, they were a dual GPU card and from what I remember were extremely hot and throttled out of the box. You would need around 700watts for that card and the rest of your system, so no that CX550M wont cut it

A 590 for the few games where it will use it's dual 580's and not have issues is a good upgrade. However we are talking about maybe 40 games from the last 5 years and a single 580 (which is how it's 90% of the time going to run) is a very small upgrade. I recommend you just go and look for a single more powerfull card.

There is a reason these dual gpu cards are quite cheap and thats because they are a hassle to use and 90%of the time the second gpu is doing nothing but consuming power.
