Is this a good build for VR gaming, video editing and 3D animation?

Hi all,

I'm looking to build a PC for VR gaming, video editing and 3D animation. My selected build is as followed:

CPU
Ryzen 7 1800X

GPU
ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 580 top

MoBo
ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero

RAM
Crucial Ballistix Sports 2x8GB

PSU
Corsair RMx Series RM750x

SSD
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB

HDD
Toshiba 1TB

CASE
Fractal Design Define R6 Black TG

I've spent the last month learning up on everything and I feel my select is good enough but it's an expensive build so I really just want to check if it's all good!

Anyone with any input would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty good build. I would keep it. If I were to nitpick, maybe 3000MHz RAM as Ryzen loves that, and if it is at this level, pick up a M.2 SSD instead of the standard for better performance. Perhaps consider the 1070Ti or 1080 instead of the RX 580. More power.

Otherwise pretty good build.
