First off I'm very new to this so I apologize if I mix up terms; I have assembled my PC a few days ago and it worked fine, I downloaded games and was able to play a few no problem. I started to download all the drivers and update everything, and I got to the motherboard drivers which prompted me to reset the computer and this is where things aren't working- the monitor shut off first (said no display) but the mobo was still on and the tower itself had not powered off (LED's were still on, fans still spinning). I waited about 30 minutes and it still had not restarted so I hit the power switch on my PSU. I gave it a few minutes and powered it back on but now the MOBO powers on (without LEDs) and the digital error gauge keeps flashing codes that different parts are initializing. This went on for a while so I again hit the power on the PSU, unplugged all cables and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Powered it back on and it's doing the same thing (no LED, only error gauge showing me that it's initializing). It's been initializing for about 10 minutes with nothing else happening, please help.
I have followed the guide posted here, and have replaced the cmos battery but are still unable to access anything.
I have plugged the hdmi cable into the graphics card and mobo but nothing pops up, please help

You need someone with a spare GPU, being able to exchange yours, so you can make sure it's not a driver or GPU-issue.
None the less, you Motherboard or your PSU may just have coincidentally died, so after checking the graphics card, get a spare PSU (or help by someone who can do that for you, maybe a shop with tech support). If that is ok, it maybe the Motherboard.
You may need a technician, looking at your stuff from close.

@ragnar, I thought it might be the gpu, but I tried running power only to the mobo/cpu and it gave me the same issues. The more I talk to people about it, the more it seems like the mobo is the issue. I have to wait to tomorrow to call them but it seems like it might be a faulty board, apparently it's been a big issue for them recently
