Hi,

Ive recently started to try at overclocking my CPU.

Specs are as follows:

i5 7600k
16gb DDR4 2666Mhz Ram
250gb M.2 HD
Corsair H100i v2 Cooler
ASUS Striz 1070 GPU

Having read up on overclocking on various forums, I managed to Overclock my CPU to 4.8Ghz at 1.175Core Voltage (Set in Bios) also i enabled XMP profile for my RAM too.

I ran realbench stress test for 1 hour successfully. and played CSGO for about an hour with no issues. My Temps max at 62degrees and averaging 58 - 59 degrees all cores under full load.

My question here is that I found online other people were only able to get a 4.8Ghz overclock with Higher Voltages. Mine seems low.

Do you think my overclock is successful or is there something I am missing to check?

I asked the very same question not too long ago about my i3-8350k (which is a rebranded i5-7600k performance wise) as I am running a 5GHz OC at 1.325V which a guide I was following crashed at, but mines been running for a month now completely stable.

You just won the silicon lottery, so you're just very lucky. I'd stress test it a bit longer just to make sure, but i think you're good to go :)
