Solution
The 1TB has to be formatted. In Disk management, right-click on it (the black part to the right, not the smaller box on the left) and select "new simple volume" and click through the wizard.

Thanks, got it to pop up. Now, since I already downloaded quite a bit of things that went into my SSD, How would I transfer over all of the things that I downloaded, because I don't want those files in the SSD.

Things like what?
Applications you already installed can't be moved like that. They'd need to be reinstalled on the other drive if you choose.

Steam games, like this:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder

For other things, read here:
Win 7 & 8: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1834397/ssd-redirecting-static-files.html
Win 8.1 & 10: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html

Cut and paste from the original download to a folder on the HDD. (for documents, not programs that is like USAFRet says)

To keep everything on the HDD by default, move the profile folders:

first create folders on the HDD for each library (Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music, Videos)
on the left-hand pane in file explorer, or on the links in This PC section, right-click each in turn and select Properties. Go to Location tab and browse to the corresponding folder on the HDD as the new location.

The advantage of the SSD is accelerating boot times and program launch times, making everything 'feel' quicker. Moving programs to the slower HDD does waste that advantage. Since it's a small SSD though you will have to watch how much space is used. Common programs don't take up too much space but games can take up a lot.

Program files or Program Files (x86) are where most programs install themselves; they're Windows system folders which are meant to reside on the boot drive.

Your SSD should have the OS, and all or most of your applications.
Games, being large, should live on the HDD.
Other things like Video/Music/Photos...those should also live on the HDD.
Cause your browser(s) to save to the HDD instead of the SSD.

That 120GB SSD will fill up fast if you leave it as the default for everything.

Well we're mostly on the same track, though copy and then delete is safer. As (either of us) says, use the HDD for storage of documents and the like. When the SSD starts to run low on space, clear out programs or games you no longer use/play.

When you move the user library locations as described above, the HDD becomes the default location for files in those libraries. If you download a picture into the corresponding library it won't go to C:\Users\yourusername\Pictures anymore but to D:\Pictures since that is where you told Windows to keep that library

For instance, in FireFox - Options:

Just give it a location on the HDD.
In the above pic, that is a folder on my NAS box across the room.

Yes, The HDD is titled as D, but I just downloaded something and it still goes straight to the SSD

Have you moved the library already? If so, whatever browser you're in just select the library again (in the left hand pane of the selection window, just go to the appropriate library in the left panel) and the browser will update the path. You can also follow as USAF did there - if you download a lot of files they'll all go into one big pot that way with multiple types mixed. That makes the download part a bit simpler. I download a lot and put each file type in the appropriate library right away (choosing for each download), though that's a personal choice.

Okay, Say I'm about to download Steam, Would I let it go into my SSD? Because I just downloaded it and since I changed file destination the SteamSetup went into my HDD, but when I open the installer it asks me to put it in Program Files (x86) which is in my SSD (But I can change the destination), so should I change the destination folder to my D:\Documents\?
