So my 2 yr old Dell XPS 8900 I bought from the Microsoft store without all the bloatware just turned itself off. I trade equities almost full time and have all three monitor ports in use. I had a bunch of things open and running and out of no where it just quit.
During my initial online search I see a lot of these issues but they seem to have an amber light on the motherboard even though nothing else works. I have no light on the motherboard. This computer does have the power supply test button at the back and the green light will come on and fans kick on as long as Im pressing it down, but will die as soon as released.
I havent opened the case yet to start unplugging things yet, but does this sound like a dead motherboard issue?
