How to Correctly update my bios need help

I took a quick look, one of those methods uses a USB stick or other boot device in the process, one uses Windows. They are the same thing, just done in different ways. You can use the Windows one if you already have your computer up and running and just need to update it. It does say use the method packaged in the bios file you download, so once you download it then it should be clear what you're going to do.

Please read the information below before downloading or updating your BIOS
We don't recommend users to update the BIOS if their system is already running normally. ASRock assumes no responsibility for any damages caused by improper operations of downloading or updating the BIOS. Before you download or update the BIOS, please read " (How to Update)" below carefully. After updating BIOS, all the settings will be reset to the default.

Why are you updating your BIOS in the first place?

i just updated mine - go with the "Instant Flash" method, it's supposed to be the safest

be sure to read the instructions in your mobo manual carefully, format the USB stick FAT32, and install it in a USB 2.0 port. It was painless

Once the USB stick is in the USB 2.0 port, reboot into BIOS go to advanced, then to Tools, and select instant flash

But again, read the instructions in your manual carefully
