Hi upon asking and researching I just realized that my 2400mhz ram cant OC by my motherboard.

MSI B350 bazooka -
DDR4 3200(OC)+/ 2933(OC)/ 2667(OC)/ 2400/ 2133/ 1866 *

this week ill return it for higher mhz. i just want to confirm if it's right move? coz i want to OC badly so i can squeeze more performance.

doest 2400mhz can i OC it manually without using XMP?

Thanks.

Hi imthebeginning003 :)

Although the MB can support OC ram, It also depends on the CPU if the IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) will play fair. List your CPU if not sure.?

There are no guarantees that OC RAM will work with your setup and as OC RAM is not the JDEC standard. XMP profiles don't always work, then it will require Bios intervention to key in Primary Timings and maybe DRAM Voltage.
Your 2400Mhz should work if they are listed on the MB QVL without intervention and your tweaking skills as to whether you can OC your 2400Mhz kit.

Hi, Do you think becoz im using a8-9600 is the reason why? coz of share mem?, thank you for your answer. I guess QVL is just a list of tested ram in the specific board actually i also red at the website of AVEXIR and they supported by MSI boards. i guess a8-9600 the reason why i dont have XMP supported
