Power consumption would be more likely ~200w unde heavy gaming load

Alright so the whole point of changing my PSU was to get a good power supply for the graphic card, But today morning my GPU zotac 1060 got shot circuited again,This is the 4th time. I was using seasonic hydance 600w up until the 3rd time which i sent for replacement, After that i installed Circle 550W as a place holder for few days, It was working fine for about one and a half weeks and now its the same again,I dont understand how does it work for few days and suddenly it gets shot circuited , could it be its getting overpowered, Is my motherboard pcie slot faulty, I am really confused and frustrated with this at this point,I dont know how to proceed...Please help thanks.

Yes I have done that, But is there a chance of the issue with the pci slot on the motherboard and not the PSU is what i was wondering.

Psu is universal. Aftermarket psu are designed specifically to match up with aftermarket motherboards, gpus, storage drives, cases etc.

The Circle psus are junk, although the 550w should be capable of powering your pc since even maxed out with OC the pc won't draw more than @350w. The Seasonic hydance 600w you replaced should also have been more than capable.

Not sure exactly what you mean by it shorts out, but if you mean the pc suddenly shuts off, I'd be more than concerned that it's possible that the entire problem has more to do with your household power than with the pc itself. I've seen plenty of posts here concerning non-grounded houses, older faulty electric circuits, circuits sharing multiple equipment and overloading, insufficient UPC etc from indo-asian posters.

This problem started when I bought my gpu in October 17,PC was working fine before and even now, the problem happened with only the card 4 times with all 1 or 2 weeks of gap, Also I have a Spike gaurd whose main goes to a UPS which is then connected to the electrical main. That is why I am confused as to what is the cause of the problem, The motherboard, the PSU or something else.

That's a bit strange, if there is a problem with mobo, that pcie should be unusable now or it won't detect a gpu in that slot. So no problem with mobo.

Are you facing crashes when you are gaming? Pc shutting off suddenly? That would mostly be caused by unstable power supply by the psu which may short the gpu or a fail in the psu itself.

Did your seasonic psu work even after the gpu got fried?

No there were never any crashes each time the card got shot, it was a week or two gap and then suddenly it gets shot on any given morning when i turn on the pc.And yes the seasonic PSU was working even after gpu shots, still i sent it to RMA as its in warranty and started using the circle PSU which as of now is working and GPU still got shot today.

Its about an year old now.Although i took the ups after an year i got my new pc,But that shouldnt affect the new circle smps which I started using now?

Most definitely can affect the psu. As can the spike guard. A decent ups actually is a spike guard, power charges the battery, the battery converts to 120/240v clean power to the psu. Any spikes from the household electrical get killed by the battery. If the ups is faulty somehow, then power can be interrupted and the pc shutdown. Usually happens when there's a large power draw on the ups, like when a gpu is pushed hard while gaming, but can happen at anytime.

I'd try running the pc without the ups, just on the spike guard and see if you still crash. At best case, it's the cause and pc no longer crashes, at worst case the pc crashes so proving the ups is still good and the problem is in the pc not the house.

The problem is not he pc crash, its the graphic card that got shot 4 times in 2 different PSU's.
