I recently bought an HP Compaq 6005 SFF computer, it's said to have a 3.0 GHz AMD Athlon II X4, what type of RAM and how much can I put in this system? as I need a lot of RAM to run autoCAD and 3D modeling on it, I plan to upgrade it to it's max RAM capacity, install a Sapphire 4 GB RX 550, and eventually upgrade it to a quad core phenom. but I also want to do some YouTube gaming on it, so does anyone know of a good budget video capture solution that looks semi professional? I'd prefer a PCI solution, but am open to suggestions, I've seen Intel based systems get upped to 16 GB of RAM, and was wondering if this AMD system tops out at 8 or 16, as the programs I use LOVE to eat up RAM, I have a computer with 4 GB of RAM and 1 instance eats up 3 GB of the RAM, and on my main PC, the newer version of the program eats up 6 out of 8 GB with just 1 instance, so I kind of need all the RAM I can stuff into the poor machine.
