i'm building a new gaming rig using used server hardware and i ran up to some problems. there was a 4 pin pin 12v that gives power to the CPU. i plugged that in with my split 4x4 connecter from my EVGA 600 BQ Semi- Modular PSU. but there was a 5x2 Pin alongside the top next to the actual CPU slot. i've been wondering what it is but i think it's a EPS pin to give extra power to the CPU. but if it is i don't have a 5x2 connecter. i do have an adapter that uses a 8pin to connect to the 10 pin. but the problem is that my Semi- Modular PSU only supports one 8 pin CPU connecter. o need all the help i can get please!
