I have recently built my first gaming pc using the Asus Strix GTX 1060. So far I've been able to run my games with around 80 fps or higher on max settings. The only thing that's scaring me is the temperature of the GPU. With fan speeds up to 50% I'm getting around 55C playing Rainbow Six Siege on max settings. But I will be playing games that require much more power in the future. So what is a safe temperature to be looking at? Also, is it bad to have your fan speed more than 80% when playing games that will stress the GPU?

Your fan spinning up to 50% is fine. They normal idle around 20 to 30%. Second you can push your card i would say is safe would be around 70c I believe if you down asus over clock software they will let you know the specifics on how far you can really push the card. Also evga precision software works great too
