I don't know what's the problem is, but my windows 10 cannot connect to internet until I reboot the router. BUT, my another laptop Windows 7 can connect to internet at the same time without reboot the router.

Any fixes?

Solution

Well at this point I don't really know what to do...
Try looking through the router's settings just in case.
Maybe try to create a new wifi network from the router with a different name.
Whatever is wrong with that pc, maybe there are some weird errors tied to the network. I'm not sure if it will make a difference since it would be from the same address.

You could try safe mode with networking as well.

It says "no internet connection" or something similar when you hover over the icon?
Have you tried it with another connection? You can make a wifi hotspot out of your phone for example.
Of course you can also try the troubleshoot. Right click the icon and choose troubleshoot.

ye, thats what happened. It says "no internet connection" with yellow symbol right next to wifi icon.

I can connect to my wifi hotsot (from my phone). Troubleshoot doesn't fix anything.

Ok.
Open the list of connections and press disconnect on it.
Then try to reconnect. Re-type the password.

If that doesn't help try this:

-While on the desktop, press Windows Key + X.
-Select Command Prompt (Run as Administrator).
-Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt.
-Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been released.
-Type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt.
-Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been re-established.
-Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt.
-Close the command prompt and attempt to make a connection.

Hmm...
So the same wifi works on other devices and other wifis work on the same device.
I assume you haven't done any weird settings in the router...

I guess try disabling and re-enabling the network adapter...
-Right click the icon
-Open the settings
-click Change Adapter Options
-right click the adapter and choose Disable.
Then re-enable it.

I doubt that will help though.

You could also try a static IP:
-From the adapter options right click the adapter and choose properties
-find and highlight IPv4
-click properties
-set up a static IP

If you don't know what to put there, just open cmd and type ipconfig /all
Then find "IPv4 Address", "Subnet Mask" and "Default Gateway".
Use the same values except +1 on the IPv4.
i.e. if it's 192.168.0.3 set it to 192.168.0.4
Also, use 8.8.8.8 as the dns.
