Moving HDD from an HP to another PC [HELP]

Ok so ihave this HP Pavilion p7 1254 and it has Windows 10 and i just want to swap the HDD to a Custom Build PC, Will i be able to move it and keep my info and files?

Prepare for if it fails completely, be thankful if it works.
Win 10 is better than previous versions, but here are no guarantees.

from my experience, windows 10 handle different mobo quite well.
give it a try, just plug your hdd and boot it. chances are you able to boot all the way through.

a recommended action would be clean install, but you can always do this later if the hdd cant boot.
