Slow Internet All of a Sudden!

so out of no where my Internet is slow? Its perfectly fine on mobile and for everyone else!

I have tried everything! Im a bit of a newbie as I have had my PC for 2 weeks the first 2 weeks were working perfectly with around 15-20 mps download now im getting 40kbps. A possible reason it might be slow is that I alternate between households everyone week, so 1 week with my Mum and 1 week with my Dad. So does changing WiFi have anything to do with it?

PLEASE HELP!

Hi sorry for opening such an old thread. But I'm having the exact same problem and also the exact same circumstances. I go out of town every couple months and take my pc to game in crappy hotels. But I haven't in months and all of a sudden I went to reinstall a game and it's maxing at 21.0 KB/s. When I plug up the ethernet cable it's normal speed around 30 MB/s but theirs no way I can play with it plugged because the the router is in the kitchen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
