So, i bought a new gpu and i put it in my pc, so far so good. But i turned on the pc and i noticed the 6pin connector wasn't plugged in. I plugged it in WHILE my pc was running (i have crappy 350w psu) and my pc just turned off and it doesn't start anymore. Did my gpu draw too much power from the psu and is the psu the only thing that's fried, or did i fry my whole pc? I'd really like to know if i f*cked up or not... (gpu was a gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 1050ti)

Solution
It is hard to say just like that which components got fried. You will need to check one by one. Start with no GPU, and if still nothing, next step would be try another PSU. Once you get machine running again, you can see if the GPU survived (or just put it into another PC if you can).
