Hi,

So I have a set of Logitech Z333’s which I’ve been using as my external speakers for my desktop computer, but have been running into some issues.

When booting the computer it makes a static like noise. If for example, I try to play music the sound it can reach isn’t very loud even though the controls on the speakers and on the computer are maxed to 100%.

If I test the same song with the aux cable plugged into my phone the speakers sound fine and can reach a high volume.

I’ve reinstalled all the latest RealTek drivers and that doesn’t seem to do anything. Occasionally when I’m playing a something, the speakers will make a loud pop and it will reach the max level like my phone can for a period of time.

I’m currently running the latest version of Windows 10 and have a MSI Z97 Gaming 3 motherboard.

I’m really stuck on what the issue may be, and whether or not I will have to invest in a new motherboard.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Jack
