Im just purchased the I7-7700k with an ASRockz270 Mobo, Just trying to get a scope on what graphics cards would be compatible. not looking to go crazy with money for it, was considering the gtx 1060ti or 1070.

There is no 1060ti. There is 1060/1070/1070ti. You can go with either depending on your monitor resolution. If your resolution is 1080p, then a 1060/1070 should be sufficient. If you have either a 1440p or 144hz monitor or both for that matter, then you should consider 1070 and above.
