Hi there folks - I'm looking to get into slightly more serious video creation, and After Effects is my tool of choice. A friend has advised me about what to get, and he seems to really know his stuff, but just to be sure (and before I spend a bucketload of cash) I wanted to check.
So, the spec I have in mind is:
- AmD Ryzen 7 1700
- Gigabyte GA-AB350 motherboard
- Asus GTX 1060 3gb
- Corsair Vengeance 2x 8gb 3000mhz RAM
- Samsung Evo 960 250 M.2 SSD
- 2TB Seagate Barracuda
- Corsair CX450M PSU
- Nzxt CA-S340W-B1 case
- Asus PCE-Ac51 Wifi
As far as I can tell, this is going to produce something that's fit for my needs - light 2D animation in After Effects, infographics style explainer videos, nothing too video intensive - but it's always good to have a second opinion. Many thanks for any and all help!
