will this ancient psu be compatible with ryzen cpus and overclocking ?
i know that the most important thing is having a good psu that delivers the wattage the build will need

there's Corsair CX550M which is newer but the problem is that i've heard alot of people having problems and reporting problems with the fans making noise and the psu being crashed after a few months
and there's Cooler Master MWE 500 PSU 80 Plus which is newer than both of them and also it's the cheapest one but i care more about the quality that i'll be getting than paying a little on a psu that will probably crash down corrupting pc parts with it.
(this is really the only options available in my country so let the advices be concentrated on them)

(GPU will be 1060)

the newer CX550m psu's are actually really good for the money. there was a lot of undeserved bad press for the last gen of the psu line but that was also mostly BS. so of course folks keep the BS going and refuse to read the new reviews showing how good that budget psu actually is.

the older design of the Seasonic is still high quality but they have improved on it a lot in newer models. i'd call it a toss up between that and the CX550m. either one is plenty enough for a ryzen and 1060 build.

Yes, given those options get the Seasonic. It's an older design, but it's a rock-solid design. It's not modular, and compared to newer designs it's not as efficient. But the components are high-quality and it will provide plenty of power for a Ryzen CPU and the GTX 1060.
