I have a old CPU Q8300 2,5 Ghz, 4 GB DDR2 800 Mhz and tommorow I am getting a new GT 1030...I need to get that GPU cause of the PSU...Will the bottleneck be big?

Solution
I'm afraid that your board won't work with that GPU. You see it only has a PCIe 1.0 16x slot and that is a PCIe 3.0 GPU. There are numerous reports online about compatibility issues between PCIe 1.0 motherboards and PCIe 3.0 GPUs. Theoretically they should be compatible but practically they aren't, especially if you take into account the fact that old boards like yours, don't receive BIOS updates that will make them more compatible with today's hardware. So if you are able to return the card, go for it. Otherwise your best bet is to find an older-used GPU that is going to be more compatible with your board. Perhaps a GT 730-740 or a GTX 750 will be a safer choice but even then you may still face a compatibility issue, so you have to...
It will be a bottleneck but not too big. If you somehow managed to overclock your CPU, then you'll definitely manage to minimize that effect. That said I'm afraid that you are asking the wrong question here. There is a reasonable chance that your system won't recognise that GPU. You have a pretty old motherboard, that may not be compatible with new GPUs. If you get that GPU , you have to make sure that you'd be able to return back in case your board doesn't recognise it.

Hmmm I'm not sure what would be bottlenecking what. Your CPU although capable, is indeed a bit old, it's on the 6th tier (from top to bottom) on Tom's CPU hierarchy, same as AMD's Phenom II CPUs. They'll game, yeah, but don't expect top performance from the CPU. And you're pairing it with a 1030, which is currently the lowest cost offer from the latest generation of Nvidia GPUs. Capable as well, for video playback and moderate gaming, but nothing too demanding either. So I'm not sure you'll have any bottleneck at all, I'm looking at fully functional Mid-graphic settings on average.
