Last week I was casually gaming and my computer would freeze, I would reset it and be on my merry way until it happened again, and again..then I started monitoring CPU temp and it never exceeded 68c... thinking I have the solution I bought a GTX1060 3gb and cleaned as well as reapplied thermal paste to my CPU just for the insecurities of a possible overheating issue. Updated Drivers and started gaming to see what a difference the card made as I was upgrading from a GTX660...fast forward an hour or so of gaming and the monitor because pixelated and froze. I just brushed it off and thought I should have restarted when I updated my drivers. I reboot my PC but I have no display at this point, can't even open BIOS but the keyboard and mouse are powered. So I swapped the DVI to HDMI over to the motherboard and reboot while the gpu is still installed, still no signal and can't access BIOS, all fans come on even the GPU as well as the Heatsink fans are working. I then unplugged my GPU and removed to just use my iGPU and I switched the display setting in BIOS just to run off the integrated GPU...I then installed DDU and wiped my driver's,cleared RAM and CMOS...I reinstalled my GPU drivers as well as updated MoBo Drivers and BIOS as well..swapped the DVI over and still no display...at this point I threw in the towel and decided to do a complete wipe. I ran DBAN, installed my OS, updated drivers..plugged in my GPU as if it were a fresh build and it works! I run a benchmark mark test and once again it went pixelated and froze and now I'm back to the same symtoms of not getting any display. I ran a test through Intel and my CPU passed, I tried windows memory diagnostics and it seems my RAM has passed as well.. I'm absolutely lost and clueless on this one and would much appreciate any insight or help. PLEASE!
