Hello Guys , First of all, I have this 2x 4gb RAM s which are on my M/B , MB is : Z77a-G43 , my MB also has two additional slots ( black slots ) which i think are for the RAM as well , i want to buy 2x4 more 4GB rams to add there , can you suggest which one to buy ? should it be like pair? because last time when i put my RAMs in Black slots instead of Blue one, they didn't work, little bit noobie in that aspect so i need help with it

Solution
thats weird, normally slot 2 4 should work initially

anyway, since you have both set of rams, try mixing it,
if it doesn't work, remove the RAM, clear the CMOS and put just 2 stick

mixing ram is not a guaranteed play
you can mix ram at chance it can fail
successful ram mixing will match all RAMs speed to the slowest one
failed ram mixing can cause various problems

instead of mixing rams, getting a single kit of 4x4gb is much more better OR getting a 2x8gb to avoid problems with the blue slots

you can pick between Corsair, HyperX Kingston or G.Skill RAMs

so atm i have an eye on Corsair Vengeance 8GB Kit (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz << this one, so it is not to worth buy? the RAM i have now are located in Blue slots not in Blacks, so buying 2x4GB ram and putting them in black spots is useless?

sorry, I mean avoid problem in black slots,
mixing ram is indeed worth a try, and failing at mixing can lead to problems ofc
You say that putting the RAMs in Black slots didn't work, have you tried 1stick on each of these slot?
if still not working, I assume the slots is faulty (getting a new motherboard by then)

getting the Corsair RAM is indeed worth it if you want to try mixing RAMs,
or getting the 2x8gb if you are not going to try mixing it

so you have both kit of 2x4gb right now?
then you can try mixing it, it worths the try,
then tell us a tale of your story

wait, what do you mean by blue RAM? anyway, the black slots is slot 1 3 or 2 4? and what kind of manual that says the RAM slot won't work?
normally, 2 stick of RAM is slotted in slot 2 4, I don't know why (I can still put it in slot 1 3 just fine)
