Hello,

I recently Installed these 2 8gb sticks of this RAM onto my Asus Prime B250m-A:

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16 (PC4-19200) Memory Kit - Black (CMK8GX4M1A2400C16)

I left the old RAM in there since it was also 2400mhz like these 2 I just installed. Everything seemed to work okay until I was surfing the net a little bit ago and suddenly the computer crashed and gave me a “Memory Management” error. Is this because of the new RAM or that I mixed the new ram with the old RAM? The old RAM is stock. Not sure of the manufacturer.

I have Windows 10 64-bit with an I7-7700. GPU: AMD RX580 4GB

Thank you for all of the help!

Mixing memory modules can lead to stability issues; buying a kit that meets your requirements would have been better. Unlike a kit, you bought 2 modules that were never tested together. To make it worse, you kept an old module that probably isn't identical. Remove the old module and then run Memtest86+ and Windows Memory Diagnostics to ensure there are no errors.
