Hey i have
Intel Core i5 6400 2.7ghz
DDR4 8GB ram
MSI H110M PRO-VD motherboard
seagate barracuda 2TB
500w power supply

So 500w power supply will be enough for 1070 OC edition ?

Yep what PSU do you have? Effeciency of the PSU matters. I think the minimum spec is 450w for a 1070. But I would only use minimum wattage if you have a bad ass PSU.

If your PSU is in Tier 1 or 2 in these lists then it should be fine. Also check the GPUs manufacturers webpage for power requirements.

Depends on how hard you push the card. Typically, a 1070 can mine the most efficiently at around 125 watts, but can get the highest hashrate at around 185 watts. Check out this comparison chart for details:http://miningcharts.com/gpu-mining-comparison-chart/best-price-and-power-usage/
(unfortunately it doesn't have wattage usage for your exact 1070 model, but no reason it would be much different than the others).

Lets all go crazy about mining!! What if people just want to play games?

More seriously. the posters entire setup, even with a 185w draw from the CPU will still uss 400w or less at peak. So a good 500 to 550w PSU would be enough. Personally i would go for a good 650w, as you will be able to upgrade to a 1080/1080Ti on this.

Yikes, sorry! For some reason I got the idea this person was asking about mining on the GPU - I guess that's what happens when I have more than one tab open at a time :S
