Hi, I am currently building a new mini gaming pc, using a (brand new) Asus A68HM Plus Motherboard, however on POST, from the speaker I can hear 1 long beep and 3 short beeps. According to the Asus beep codes table this means there is no VGA Detected.
This happens with a monitor plugged into the vga port, keyboard plugged in and all internal power connectors in the correct sockets. The CPU & system fans spin and the mobo actually lights up orange as expected.
I am confused by this error as I do not have a graphics card of any kind installed, the reason being that the motherboard already has integrated Radeon Graphics which is adequate for my needs.
I have tried removing the cmos battery and replacing after 10 minutes, shorting the cmos pins and I have also reseated 3 different sets of compatible memory modules. Even by installing just one stick into DDR3 slot 1 and swapping over sticks I am still faced with the same issue.
Also, I have tried 2 different working 550w power units from other working pcs.
Please advise how I can move forward with this build as I am very frustrated.
Many Thanks,
Neil
