I want to start by saying I don't know a lot about computers, so I apologize if my questions don't make a lot of sense.
Quite recently, I had my 1TB WD blue hard drive fail on me completely, but luckily I wasn't worried about recovering it anyways because I had an extra brand new 3TB WD black hard drive laying around. So I do know that I need a new Windows 10 install on a new hard drive, but I'm really confused about what to get because I've only ever had pre-built computers before with the OS already on them. My current computer is custom built, and was given to me awhile back. I would also like to know what the difference is between an OEM or retail windows 10 install.
If someone has a guide for installing Windows 10 on a the blank hard drive for after I find out about the OS that would be awesome. Thankyou for reading this and hopefully it made a little sense.
