Hey everyone,
Recently my nephews came to visit and one tossed a full bowl of cereal all over my existing rig while I was editing some photos (I was in the bathroom). It was getting old anyways. Needless to say I’m going to need a new rig and decided I’m going to build this one.

For work I use autodesk CAD and inventor in particular and a little adobe illustrator. My wife does wedding photography so I would like it to work well with adobe premier/photoshop/after effects

And for a hobby I do some game design in maya, blender, unreal engine etc..

I was hoping to get a parts list from all the knowledgeable people here.
I’d like to come in around 3000$ but could go up to 4500 range if need be. Thanks for the advice!

I see CAD oriented workstation build with some photo editing as well.
is there any gaming use ? if yes, what is the monitor resolution and refresh rate ?
what is the desired storage capacity ?
Anyway looks like the build will be around ryzen 7 + 32GB RAM.

Why would you even consider a HAF 912 on a $2,000 budget? That case is now 6 years old and lacks cable management and airflow that you can get with a much better case. If you're going to go all out, don't go cheap on the case. It makes the whole thing look cheap. There's far better cases you can get!

I would do something like this:

Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($118.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($46.55 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB ROG STRIX Video Card ($525.00)
