Hi, i've had my computer for about a year now. Only a year.

Specs:
CPU - AMD FX 8350
RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro series DDR3 2400 mhz
GPU - GTX 1070
MOBO - MSI 970A-G43
PSU - EVGA 500 Bronze
Storage - 120GB SSD, and 1TB HD
OS - Windows 10 Pro, Latest Update

My computer has been freezing kind of then and there forever, my mouse will move, but nothing on my screen i can interact with. I ultimately always use control alt delete to get out of the problem. It would usually only last 10 seconds and would not happen often at all.

Recently, I've started kind of heavy gaming on it again (PUBG Basically) I use to play light games (Minecraft, terraria) Ever since I got pubg (and recently a new cooler because the stock is loud as heck) My computer freezes about every 10 minutes. It happens mid game (Sometimes completely would shut off my computer) and it happens mainly when I open up an application for the first time since start up. Or when i try to explore the internet on google chrome. Its getting to the point to where I've already picked out parts for a new CPU, RAM, and MOBO.

I really do not want to buy those. I saw suggestions in other threads saying to just buy new parts, but the thing is I've only had it for about a year and a half (with it being on maybe 20 hours a week.)

I'd really appreciate some help.

Thanks.

OK we are getting somewhere. As I said before you have to test your system with another PSU just to rule out a possible PSU failure. You just need to know whether your PSU is fine or not. Besides that you need to test your RAM with memtest and both your drives for errors/bad sectors/smart status. You could also try using new SATA cables for your drives. Sometimes the simplest thing can cause a lot of headaches. Check those 4 components and report back with the results. If all of them are fine then we need to check the other least probable suspects. Good luck.
1) Monitor your CP/GPU/mobo temps and make sure that you aren't facing an overheating issue. Also make sure that your system is clean and dust free.

2) Monitor your CPU/GPU clock speed and make sure that neither of them is throttling.

3) You should test your system with another PSU. Usually similar issues are power related and the PSU is the most likely suspect.

I have taken apart my PC and put it back together to clean it.

I have hard reset my drive with my windows on it.

I'm almost positive its not a bottleneck or throttle, because it just started happening and it happens when im not even playing games. It did it twice while I was typing this.

and I have tried turning off my turbo and updating my bios.

Very upset over here :/

EDIT: I just checked my event log, this popped up after a freeze.

svchost (3972,D,0) Unistore: A request to write to the file "C:\Users\WatkZ\AppData\Local\Comms\UnistoreDB\store.vol" at offset 159744 (0x0000000000027000) for 8192 (0x00002000) bytes has not completed for 36 second(s). This problem is likely due to faulty hardware. Please contact your hardware vendor for further assistance diagnosing the problem.

I understand now it is my hardware. Does this tell me what piece it is??
