Hey i have geforce 960 strix4gb atm and want to upgrade it to a 11gb, so i was just wondering if my setup will handle it.

i have a msi b150 gaming M3 motherboard, 16gb ram, and an i7 7700 Kaby lake

was thinking of buying the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio

I would hold off on buying right now. Prices are crazy inflated. When the prices come back down I would say your 1080ti choice is solid. Just make sure your case is large enough for that card and that your current PSU can handle it.

My apologies on the price advice. The US is full of crypto currency miners buying up all of the cards lol.

600 watts is the minimum requirement for that card (source: http://www.nvidia.com/content/geforce-gtx/GTX_1080_Ti_User_Guide.pdf) so tread carefully with overclocking. Not to mention that huge triple fan cooler on that card could consume more power. You would be ok running it but consider upping your system to something around 650-750 watts.
