Hi!
So I've been trying to recover my whole external HDD (1TB) with EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard,
and after scanning, it says there's more than 7TB of data :ouch:

Does someone know how's that possible?

Solution
Yes, the data recovery program is bringing back every file that was ever deleted. For example: if a file was updated 10 times earlier, then the DR is going to bring back all nine previous deletions including the one deletion that wasn't planned. Whether the previouse deletions are recoverable or not -- such as listed with the lite green, yellow, or red. Also, a byte-count is given for all such files listed. That's probably why the total far exceeds the HD size.

If a very recent date of the file is given and that file has a green light, try to, recover, copy that file over to any affordable external media. Otherwise, all you can do is try to, recover, copy over all green lighted files onto external media.
