Hi,
I've been getting this error for my ethernet connection. Nothing connects to the internet and the troubleshooter says "ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration". I've tried just about every solution listed on different websites.

The only thing that has worked is resetting my internet. The problem is I have to do this every day when I get on my computer after turning it on. The problem seems to keep coming back and it's very inconvenient for me to have to reset the router every time I want to use my pc.

The same ethernet cord works fine on any other computer it's only my desktop that does this.

Any suggestions are appreciated
Thank you

Solution
in control panel under peripheral check lan card and disable it then restart system and enable it for the network check if your computer have the same settings as the others in the group you might have to redo them .

I've tried reinstalling TCP/IP Settings, disabling and Enabling my NIC, I've tried various cmd command (ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew and more), changing network adapter settings and uninstalling ethernet drivers.

What do you mean by this? How do I check lan chipset and what am I looking for in network settings?
